Practice Facilities

Kooindah has several practice facilities for members to work on their short game or for visitors to warm up before a round, they include;

Putting Green

The purpose built putting green is always prepared to closely emulate the putting surfaces a player will find out on the course providing a fine indication of the courses putting conditions when practising before the days play.

Chipping Green with Practice BunkerIMG_0019

The chipping area provides all conditions a player may find around the greens when on the course proper. The facility provides rough and fairway lies cut at the same length as the golf course. The purpose built practice bunker provides a fine opportunity for players to get a feel for what awaits should they find themselves in one of Kooindah Waters’ 84 bunkers.

Practice Nets

There are also 4 practice nets with synthetic grass surfaces for players to warm up their irons and woods before a round.

Wedge Play Area

A mini range is available for players to practice their wedge play. Two target greens will allow players to work on their wedge play from 80m and under.
