THANKYOU MEMBERS AND KOOINDAH WATERS
Posted on: 3 December
Hi Dave
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Longest Day challenge at Kooindah Waters Golf Club on Monday.
Peter and I successfully completed all 72 holes, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible encouragement from members of the club who joined us on the day including, Jason Menzies, Jim Forrester, Sean Devlin, Ian Jackson, Tony Pegg, and Chris Currie. Your energy, company, and good humour kept us going from the first tee to the final putt.
Special mention to our wives, Jennie and Fiona, for the help on the day and Dave & the golf club staff for being so accommodating allowing us to achieve this. We have raised close to $4000 to date for the Cancer Council.
We’re also deeply grateful to everyone who contributed—whether through donations, logistics, or just positive comments throughout the day. Your generosity helps fund vital cancer research and support services for those impacted by cancer.
If you weren’t able to donate but would still like to, contributions are still very welcome at https://www.longestday.org.au/fundraisers/the19thhoole .
Every dollar makes a difference. Thank you again for your amazing support.
Regards
Rik Hoole and Peter Devlin
