“Incredible golf course, challenging yet fair, caters perfectly for a broader representation of golfers. The clubhouse & balcony, that overlooks the finishing holes, completes the package of a memorable day out.” Kooindah Member – Dan Mills

I began playing golf fifty-six years ago. But I have never enjoyed my golf more than the last seven years since joining Kooindah Waters. Good golf courses pose questions when playing. Every shot demands attention from tee to green at Kooindah Waters. My wife and I built a house at Kooindah Waters two years ago. Kooindah Waters is now our lifestyle, not just our golf club. “I have had the pleasure of being a member of Kooindah Waters Golf club for the past six years. In that time the golf club and the golf course have both improved dramatically due to the excellent working relationship between management, staff and maintenance teams. The golf course is always presented in first class condition and although it is challenging it is a pleasure to play on. There are numerous competition days through the week and weekend so there is always a vacancy for a game. I can highly recommend  Kooindah Waters to those who are considering joining a golf club and I am sure you will not be disappointed”. Kooindah Member – Ted Buckland

I love the challenge that Kooindah Waters presents every time I play it.  The course is always extremely well presented and the staff are always welcoming.  A great place to play golf. Kooinidah Member – Glen Giddings

“Great club to belong, run by Troon Golf who do a fabulous job running all aspects of the club. Allowing members to enjoy 4 days of mixed play plus and up and coming Ladies day. Has all modern standards such as electronic scoring and golf carts. The course is a challenge for all golfers and is set in beautiful natural wetlands, home to over 80 species of bird life. Living on the course is an added benefit as all residents are so very friendly with plenty of things to enjoy. Having the Mecure Hotel available as a club house with its cafe and restaurant plus all the facilities that go with it add to your game, with plenty of scope for entertaining  friends. Come and have a game and see for yourself! Kooindah Member – Susie Guerin

“From the second you walk in to the second you walk out you are impressed, the condition of the whole complex is second to none and throughout my years at Kooindah waters I am yet to see it in bad condition. If your looking to improve your game or to just enjoy your day, Kooindah Waters is the place to be, you will not regret it”. Tom Ballard – Kooindah Member.

“Kooindah Waters Golf Club is an incredibly underrated golf course. The year round playing conditions combined with the difficult yet rewarding lay out makes this course a pleasure to play. The greens are consistently the best greens to putt on which only adds to the enjoyment of each game. The club is supportive of men’s, ladies and junior representative teams which is refreshing to be part of”. Glenn Feast – Kooindah Member.

Wow! What a great Golf course, at last a course where you don’t have to hit every drive 300 meters! Set in the wetlands between Wyong and the Tuggerah lake, Ross Watson and Craig Parry have carved a testing layout using what was already there including the natural water features, a course that can be enjoyed by the big hitters, the older player and someone new to the game, what looks at first sight a difficult shot over water, and there are a few —on most holes has a bail out area to hit to! Friendly golf course staff and a club house that provides again friendly staff and reasonable priced food and beverage complete the package. I liked it so much I bought a house here! Great! The original objectives of the course designers Ross Watson and Craig Parry still hold true today, “an interesting course which challenges both the low and high handicappers”. Having played this course over the past eight years I never tire of the challenge it presents. The overall course condition is always a feature of any visit here, with excellent couch fairways and rough, and green surfaces of A1 Bent Grass which provide fast and true tests for all levels of golfers. Being a member here comes with some additional advantages to most clubs with access available to first class resort facilities including fine dining, tennis courts, well equipped gymnasium, spa, sauna and two great pools. Another great feature here is the booking system available to members with guaranteed member tee times which can be scheduled and managed (via the clubs web site) for up to three months in advance. For those looking for a great life style the residential facilities at Kooindah provide a great base combined with a friendly community atmosphere with lots a social interaction over and above just the golf. Through the 9 years since moving to Kooindah, we have made and enjoyed making many new friends, sharing holidays together, organizing golfing trips to other Troon / Golf locations along with many Kooindah social events. There is always something happening at Kooindah for the member / residents to be involved with. Great golf course, great facility and above all a great lifestyle! Barry & Sharyn L’Estrange – Kooindah Members.
