April 26th 2009 - Kooindah Waters Golf Club played their part in The Holden Scramble, Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most successful team tournament, hosting a local open event on Wednesday 22 April.

Anthony Baffis, Craig Stevens and Adam Bell from Gosford Golf Club and Bradley Hay from Everglades Country Club were the event winners, defeating 12 other teams with a final nett score of 53.9.

Kooindah Waters director of golf Mark Ingrey said it was fantastic to host such a well known golf event at the club.

“The Holden Scramble is always a great event for amateur golfers as it gives them a chance to show their competitive side and challenge themselves in proper tournament conditions,” Mr Ingrey said.

“We were proud to host the event in its eighteenth season, which attracted more than 50 amateur golfers from the Central Coast region.”
