Kooindah Waters sales and marketing manager Kimberly Petersen said it was a testament to the course that the Club regularly attracted a sporting celebrities of such a high calibre. “We are delighted that Slater and Bevan chose to play the Kooindah Waters course as part of their long weekend of golf,” Ms Petersen said. “We are seeing more and more Australian sporting greats taking time out to come and play a round here at Kooindah and it’s great to see. “Former Australian Netball captain Liz Ellis joined us recently, and we received a visit from Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin a few weeks ago when he chose to renew his ambassadorship with the club,” she said. Other sporting celebrities who have graced the greens at Kooindah Waters include Central Coast local and national rugby union star, Adam Ashley-Cooper and Newcastle Jets A-League star, Joel Griffiths. | |||
